For four years, Ausconnex has supported Vestas in carrying out essential maintenance work at its Woodlawn Wind Farm at Lake George in the NSW Southern Tablelands. The annual maintenance work ensures the 23 wind turbines can continue generating enough #renewableenergy to power more than 29,100 homes annually.

Recently our team of 13 specialists including engineers, field technicians and protection technicians worked on the site for three days maintaining four Woodlawn and two Capital Feeders. Our team enjoyed getting out of the city, and while the terrain was at times difficult to navigate, they enjoyed the curiosity of the resident livestock.

Works included inspections of existing poles, replacing earth where needed and routine checks on air break switches.
