Commencing her electrical engineering career in 2011, and with a strong background in designing mains distribution and transmission projects internationally, Gopika brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our team.

Gopika joined us in July this year and has since been working closely with both the design and construction teams on several major infrastructure projects, including high-voltage feeder works and feasibility studies.

The pride Gopika takes in finding constructible solutions in design is what makes her role at Ausconnex truly rewarding.
“I really get a lot out of seeing what I design being constructed – by collaborating with and supporting the construction team, I’ve gained so much practical perspective and knowledge that you just don’t get when, as an engineer, you’re focused purely on the design constraints.”

Outside of work, Gopika enjoys taking on new challenges and pursuits – she recently joined her local Toastmasters International Club and is keen to take up swimming and horse riding. She also has a passion for energetic and expressive forms of dance.
