At Ausconnex, we’re proud of our staff and their demonstrable willingness to go above and beyond! Site Supervisor, George Stevana, is testament to this, and was recently presented with a Reward and Recognition award from Seymour Whyte for his hard work on the M12 Motorway Central Project. The M12 Motorway is an integral part of the $4.4 billion Western Sydney Infrastructure Plan that will deliver reduced travel times and connect to Sydney’s motorway network.
Over the past four years, George has developed a broad knowledge of the network, aiding him to liaise with diverse stakeholders, coordinate multiple parties, and carry out complicated works safely and efficiently. His recent award recognises his organisation and facilitation of the 132kw outage at RangeRoad, and his management of the project through challenging weather conditions, to achieve positive outcomes within strict timelines.
George received the award graciously, saying it was nice to be acknowledged for his efforts, but that without his team’s input and professionalism, such impressive results wouldn’t have been possible. In particular, he credits Justin Chambers as a driving force in the project, ensuring the works were completed on time.
A huge congratulations to George for his well-deserved reward and recognition! We’re proud of our staff, their ability to work together to achieve impressive results on a range of dynamic projects, and their commitment to Ausconnex ethos of being open, honest, and transparent.
