At Ausconnex, we’re committed to social engagement and to making a real difference. To honour these values, 13 of our employees recently volunteered with Foodbank Australia, the largest hunger relief charity in Australia.

Hunger is a pervasive, prominent issue in Australia, with more than half a million households struggling to put food on the table on any given day across our country. As the cost of living continues to rise, Ausconnex is aware of the ongoing need to support the important work Foodbank Australia is doing to help families meet their most basic needs.

Over the course of five hours our team managed to pack nearly 9000 kilograms of food, across 22 orders from charities that exist to alleviate hunger and that are continuing to report alarming increases in the demand for food. The Ausconnex team worked hard, with one team reporting that they packed 200 kilograms of fruit and vegetables in a single order!

At Ausconnex our responsibilities go beyond our delivery of the services and capabilities we’re best known for. We are passionate about contributing to important causes to ensure our society is equitable and enjoyable for everyone.
