We’re successfully supporting Abergeldie Complex Infrastructure to safely and efficiently install new poles as part of the TfNSW AC Feeder Upgrade Project in Yagoona. This is an important project making a real difference to the reliability and performance of the Sydney Trains network.

The project is not without its obstacles; despite all holes being bored and check measured by Ausconnex and Abergeldie Complex Infrastructure, one of the pole holes measured short during the pre-installation check. This may have been the result of vibrations from the nearby train line or moving the 40 tonne cranes and EWP vehicles into position. We were able to have our local resources and specialist auger equipment on site within hours, ensuring the works could still be completed during the outage.
