Get to know Vinay Sreenivas, a Project Engineer with Ausconnex!

Tell us a bit about your role at Ausconnex.
I joined Ausconnex in March last year, as a Project Engineer. I support end-to-end planning and execution of multiple electrical infrastructure projects.

What do you enjoy most about your role?
I enjoy how every day is different in my role. Managing multiple projects means visiting multiple sites and engaging with different people all the time, which makes the job really enjoyable.

What are some of your highlights so far?
Our team motto is, “make life easier for our clients by providing solutions.” I have stuck to this from the time I joined the team, and it’s been rewarding to get great feedback from our clients.

What is one of the biggest highlights of your career so far?
When I came to Australia, my first job was as an intern. Within two years I had the opportunity to be a part of major projects like the Moorebank Intermodal Project. This progression has definitely been a highlight of my career.

Tell us something people might be surprised to learn about you.
I am very attached to my family and am really great with kids! I’m also a hardcore Arsenal FC fan.
